The UK is committed to delivering its share (15%) of the EU target of 20% of energy coming from renewable sources by 2020. Currently only 2% of UK electricity comes from renewable sources. In order for the UK to hit this target, the government is offering subsidies, known as Feed-In-Tariffs, for it to be financially attractive for people to install renewable technologies on their properties.

You will be paid through your energy supplier for all of the power you produce. As well as creating your own electricity that is free for you to use. The expected life of a system is more than 25 years and there are examples of systems installed in the 1960′s that are still generating electricity today. This is proof that it really is one of the most cost effective ways of sourcing electricity.

The solar panels we use work best in direct sunlight, but even on an overcast day it will still be producing electricity for you to use in your home.
